World Vision is looking for a dynamic person to fill the Three (3) Nutrition Nurses (Man or Woman) for its Emergency Response to Conflict Affected Populations In Juba Nutrition Project, based in Juba, South Sudan

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
To take responsibility to manage a successful Nutrition program in the health facilities. The Nutrition nurse will ensure that programme beneficiaries, particularly children with severe acute malnutrition are well managed in terms of supplies and medication. He/ She will also ensure that children with SAM and medical complications are appropriately referred for Stabilization Care.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Administer appropriate nursing care to all children<5, pregnant and lactating women coming to the OTP/TSFP sites
 Manage cases of children with severe Acute malnutrition with medical complications admitted in stabilization care centers
 Ensure that the referral mechanism is working well from SC, OTP and TSFP
 Proper management and drug administration of routine medication in the OTP/SC sites
 Ensure that accurate field data is kept at the OTP centers and site reports/data compiled into weekly and monthly reports and submitted to the Nutrition officer
 Work in close consultation and collaboration with the State Ministry of health in implementation of Nutrition activities
 Ensure that the Nutrition Assistants are provide with accurate and appropriate IYCF and Health messages
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Diploma / Certificate in nursing or related discipline
At least 2-3 years field experience in the same fields
Strong skills in written and spoken English.
