Creative Associates International is a dynamic, fast-growing global development firm that specializes in education, economic growth, democratic institutions and stabilization. Based in Washington, D.C., Creative has a field presence in more than 15 countries with a strong client portfolio that includes the U.S. Agency for International Development and the State Department, among others.

Creative Associates International is seeking candidates an anticipated civic engagement and peace project, funded by USAID, to promote stability, local solutions, and citizen participation to mitigate conflict and empower civil society in South Sudan. The purpose of this project is to empower citizen actors across a wide range of contexts and populations in South Sudan to advance peace, stability, and dialogue through local solutions, civic participation, and increased access to information in South Sudan. This will help to mitigate conflict, advance reconciliation efforts, and bolster civil society actors and organizations at local and national levels.

We are looking for technical & operational experts in the following functional areas:

  • Peace Building and Trauma
  • Civil Society and Stabilization
  • Media and Communications
  • Gender and Youth Inclusion
  • Operations and Administration
  • Procurement
  • Grants Management
  • Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
  • Logistics
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Security

Only individuals containing the following qualifications will be considered:

  • Bachelor’s degree or University degree, advance degree preferred;
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in one of the above operational function areas;
  • Proven experience with one of the following donors: USAID, OTI, U.S. State Department, DFID or other development donor;
  • Strong verbal communication skills and effective in representation and liaison with external actors;
  • Excellent spoken and technical writing ability in English, including report writing;
  • Good computer skills in programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Ability to work under pressure in challenging working and living conditions.
