Principles and Practice of Research Data Management and Collection Course

INTRODUCTION
The course focuses on clinical research data management that complies with international Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards as published by the International Congress on Harmonization, E6 Consolidated Guidance. The course will have an overview of the GCP process used internationally for conduct of human subjects’ research, and how it supports research data management that is accurate, complete, timely, verifiable, secure, and available for analysis.
The course will balance theoretical guidelines with the use of practical tools designed to assist in planning and conducting research. Real-world research examples, problem solving exercises and hands-on training will ensure students are comfortable with all concepts.

This course is geared towards clinical researchers, investigators, research nurses, study coordinators and all other study staff.

OBJECTIVE
• Have a clear understanding of clinical research data management that complies with international Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards
• Participants will be able to plana good Data Collection Strategy
• Have a hands n experience in data collection using ICT tools i.e. RED cap and ODK
• Perform research data management that is accurate, complete, timely, verifiable, secure, and available for analysis
