Human Resource Management plays a very critical role for any organization to succeed in its work. There is growing belief that human resource is the biggest asset in an organization hence the need for effective management. Over 60% of litigations against an organization are normally related to human resource management issues hence the growing interest in the sector .
This diploma course therefore covers a range of topics associated with human resource management from the perspective of the management and the employees.
The course aims to provide learners with the critical understanding, skills and competencies required to execute human resource management functions. It will help participants to acquire tools for their career in HR. It will also help HR professionals to refresh and expand their knowledge in employee management

Exercises:
After they have read the material for each unit, students are expected to test their own learning by completing some relevant exercises and tasks.
Assignments: There are ten assignments (continuous assessment tests) and one examination to be offered at the end of the course. Assignments and Continuous Assessment Tests account for 70% project paper or examination will account for 30% of the mark. Upon completion of the course you shall be issued with a Diploma Certificate and a course transcript .
