About Health Statistics Course
This course introduces the students to the core principles of health statistics. It will help to equip the learner with statistical knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable him collect, compile, compute, analyze and interpret & disseminate health statistics required for planning and management of health services useful in evidence-based decision making and policy formulation

The course is crucial in the technological arena where computers have become a tool of the day. Most medical/health facilities and organizations have computerised their operations and management of health data and information is now at the mercy of (health) statisticians to gather, protect, analyze and interpret for public consumption and to aid in disease surveillance and effective management of health resources.
