This training course at IRES offers relevant skills and knowledge to people working in zones affected by such crises to offer psychosocial support and help the affected communities to heal the psychological wounds and rebuild social structure after such critical events.

Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety Course (5 Days)

This training course at IRES prepares participants in development, promotion, and maintenance of workplace policies and programs that ensure the physical, mental, and social well-being of employees so as to enhance productivity, reduce health management cost, and lower the rate of absenteeism in the organization

Installation, use and Maintenance of DHIS2 Course (5 Days)

This training course will equip the participants with necessary skills and knowledge on how to report, analyze and disseminate data for all health programs.

Installation, Use and Management of OPENHDS and ODK Course (5 Days)

The training aims at building the capacity of researchers, health record managers and practitioners to monitor, manage and maintain demographic data and health information with focus on installation, use and management of openHDS.

Public Health in WASH during Emergencies Course (5 Days)

In the event of a disaster, the existing water storage facilities are inadequate to meet the current or expected demands. The existing water supply pipe lines are vulnerable and basic WASH materials are lacking to meet the demand in the event of the disaster. Preparedness and response capacities of health facilities are insufficient due to the lack of trained professional human resources, lack of coordination and inadequate policies.

Basic Fire Safety Course (5 Days)

IRES has designed Training Course on Basic Fire Safety to raise awareness of fire hazards in the workplace and how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation, including evacuating people in the event of fire and selecting and using fire extinguisher.

Diseases Surveillance and Reporting Course (5 Days)

This training is offered with an aim of strengthening the national capacity for surveillance and control of public health events of national and international concern.

Microsoft Excel for Health Care Professionals Course (3 Days)

The healthcare industry presents unique scenarios so all course examples and homework assignments will use healthcare-based datasets, including patient arrival rates, infection rates, etc.

Foodborne Illness and Food Hygiene Course (5 Days)

The training course is dedicated to inform, educate and improve preparedness, response, and prevention of foodborne diseases within both the governing and industry workforce.

HIV/AIDS Prevention, Control and Management Course (5 Days)

The training course on HIV/AIDS prevention, control and management aims at giving people information about HIV/AIDS and creating awareness on prevention, control and management.
